Down into the coal mine? Whoever enters the restaurant’s basement bar at night will curiously study the brown coal bricks, stacked as books in a wooden wall unit. A memory of the coal cellar, a stylization of the "genius loci" taken from back yards at Berlin’s Gendarmenmarkt, dating from the period of promoterism.
These stylistic elements correspond to the tables made from rolled steel and the grey slate floor. Contrary to this, the bourgeois origin of this location characterizes the restaurant on the ground floor: red venician "stucco lustro" in the saloon, benches of black leather, sliding doors reaching up to the ceiling lead to a second dinning room that can be partitioned off. For dessert – Cognac and Havana!
