Jörn Ortmann has been with gmp · von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects since 1997, working at different branches. In Shanghai he was involved in the design of Lingang New Town (today: Nanhui) and of the Siemens Center. As head of the Hanoi branch he was responsible for the new Vietnamese National Assembly building, amongst other projects. Back in Hamburg, he is currently in charge of the conversion and extension of Alsterschwimmhalle in Hamburg.
