Karsten Schillings joined gmp in Hamburg in 2008, where he has headed Construction Management since 2015 and has been a Partner since 2025. He is a specialist in innovative contract models and complex construction contracts. As a lecturer, he taught for ten years at HafenCity University Hamburg and Wismar University of Applied Sciences. At gmp, he was instrumental in the contract development for the HafenCity Congress Hotel in Hamburg—a pilot project in Lean IPD. In addition, he served as overall project director for the Audi Design Center in Ingolstadt.
