Liselotte Knall graduated in architecture and then worked for a number of practices in Germany and New Zealand before joining gmp in Hamburg in 2011. She specializes in the overall design of complex projects and in that role was responsible for the new Kunsthalle Mannheim. She is currently working on the extension and refurbishment of Alster-Schwimmhalle, the new Olympus European Headquarters, and the South Pier extension at Hamburg Airport.
