Florian Illenberger joined gmp · von Gerkan, Marg and Partners Architects in 2004 while still studying at the Technical University of Berlin. After earning his degree in 2007, he worked as an architect at gmp in Berlin until 2015, where he was, among other responsibilities, in charge of overseeing the construction of the Parliament of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu in Chennai. After positions as a project manager at two Berlin-based architecture firms, Florian Illenberger returned to gmp in 2023, where he is responsible for contract management.
